Turkey curry samosas

The perfect way to transform leftover Christmas turkey into something party-worthy. Roll the filo into cigar shapes or samosas, or both!

 

Ingredients

  • 200g/7oz potatoes, diced
  • 100g/3½oz leftover peas (or frozen peas)
  • 400g/14oz leftover turkey, shredded
  • 1 white onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 x 200g/7oz packet ready rolled filo pastry
  • 100g/3½oz unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp onion seeds (optional)
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • mango chutney, to serve
