Teriyaki chicken noodles

Teriyaki chicken noodle traybake is genius. Combine the sticky, sweet and salty chicken with the noodles in a one-pan bake! The perfect midweek family meal with minimal washing up.

 

Ingredients

For the teriyaki sauce

  • 300ml/10fl oz hot water
  • 30g/1oz soft brown sugar
  • 150ml/5fl oz dark soy sauce
  • 30g/1oz fresh root ginger, finely grated
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1–2 tsp chilli flakes (optional, or adjust to taste)
  • 5 chicken thighs, boneless, skin removed
  • 225g/8oz instant vermicelli noodles (5 nests)

To garnish

  • small handful fresh coriander, chopped
  • 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 large red chilli, thinly sliced
  • sesame seeds, black and white
