Pasta with asparagus recipe. Asparagus is the star of this deliciously simple pasta dish.

* 500g pasta shells
* 3 eggs, beaten
* 90g butter
* 1/2 cup cream
* 1/2 cup grated parmesan
* 1 bunch of asparagus trimmed, halved and blanched
* Snipped chives, to serve
* Salad, to serve
3 Method / Steps
Step 1
Cook 500g pasta shells in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, following packet instructions. Drain pasta and return to pan.
Step 2
Add eggs, butter, cream and parmesan to pasta, tossing quickly over a low heat.
Step 3
Add asparagus. Serve topped with snipped chives and accompany with salad.
