Spicy Salsa Dip and Garlic Bread Chips Recipe

Fresh flavoured salsa with crispy garlic bread slices.

PREP TIME – 15 minutes
COOKING TIME – 10 minutes
SERVES – 8

Recipe Ingredients

SPICY SALSA DIP

400g ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ cup coriander, chopped
1 red chilli, finely chopped
2 tablespoon lime juice
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

TOASTED GARLIC BREAD CHIPS

1 Freshline garlic bread (any flavour)

Recipe Method

* In a large bowl mix together the tomatoes, onion, garlic, coriander and chilli.

* Add the lime juice, salt & pepper. Mix well.

* Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to enhance the flavours.

* Pre-heat the oven to 180° c.

* Take the tin foil off the garlic bread and slice each pre-marked slice into 2.

* Make sure there is enough garlic butter on all slices

* Place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for +- 10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

* Take out and let cool before serving with the spicy salsa dip
